Last week, Karen from 365 Days of Slow Cooking came up with a great idea. In honor of March Madness, Karen is hosting a tournament of crockpot recipes! She asked for volunteers to make two different crockpot recipes, and then choose the winner. The winning recipes from each head-to-head matchup will then live on in the tournament until the final four recipes are determined.
I immediately e-mailed Karen, asking if she still needed volunteers. This sounded like so much fun! First, I would get to make two new recipes that I may not have tried otherwise. And second, I love participating in “games” like this!
I chose two recipes from a list Karen sent me: Chicken Cordon Bleu and Creamy Corn Chowder. I will be making them on back-to-back nights this weekend, so look for the posts on my blog this week!
