Do you think the sloppy joes would do okay in a crick pot? The recipe says to coot it in the skillet for 15-20 minutes but I wonder if it would do okay on “low” or “keep warm” for 7+ hours.

Hi Jen. I haven’t tried to make sloppy joes in the crockpot before, but I think it would be ok for 7-8 hours on low. I would suggest adding a bit more of the liquid ingredients to be safe (like, this particular recipe calls for 1/4 cup ketchup and 1/4 cup bbq sauce, so I might double both of those).

Here is a recipe that suggest cooking on low for 4-6 hours. If you have a crockpot with a timer, maybe leave it on low for 6 hours and then let it kick to warm.
