Grape Jelly Meatballs

These little guys were a huge hit at our dinner party this weekend! I could barely get my hands on any before the plate was empty. I’d definitely recommend making them for your next get together.

1 lb. ground beef (we used extra lean, but I would use something a little fattier next time!)
1 1/2 cups chili sauce
1 cup grape jelly
1 to 3 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 tbsp. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine chili sauce, grape jelly and mustard in crockpot and stir well.  Cover and cook on high while preparing meatballs.

Combine remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into about 30 meatballs. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake meatballs for 15-20 minutes. Add meatballs to the crockpot and cover entirely with the sauce. Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours.
